Groundwork

This is where we start, from the ground up.

These classes are where we learn how to move with our body from the inside out. You’ll be introduced to the STOTT Pilates principles, build body awareness, develop initial strength, and discover joint-friendly positions and options for each exercise that work for you. This is the foundation for your Pilates and movement practice, and serves as a place you can return to again and again to ground yourself in your body.

Awaken

Here you’ll find your flow.

We’ll build upon the concepts learned in Groundwork, then expand. We begin to take on more coordinated, challenging, endurance-based work to enhance your movement skills. We increase our pace while still moving mindfully and methodically. This is where you’ll start to awaken the deep strength of your body.

Embody

Now we trust.

We’ve put in the initial work to teach our body how to move safely and effectively. Now we can move forward knowing our bodies will hold us. This class isn’t about perfection; it’s about connection, intuition, and work. In this full-body movement experience, you’ll take your practice to the next level. We move consistently throughout class, transitioning from one sequence into the next, building into a culmination of Pilates, functional strength, mobility, and, at times, some heart-pumping cardio that leaves you feeling like you’ve put it all out on the mat.

Focus

When you need a quick, to-the-point kind of session.

These classes are designed for when you’re short on time, attention, or motivation. They’re also great as little add-ons to compliment the other activities you may have throughout the week, or when you just need something to get you moving that’s more focused on one specific need.

Open

Slow down, breathe, listen, and allow your body to open.

Stress, habitual movement patterns, emotions, and tension are all stored in the body. We don’t always need a back-breaking session; sometimes we just need to allow our bodies to move and release. Here we’ll focus on creating length within our bodies, giving our joints space and freedom to move without restriction. These are restorative sessions that will leave you feeling like you just gave yourself an adjustment and reset your nervous system.

Educate

Every question you ever had, fully explained.

Everything you ever wanted to know about Pilates and movement is broken down here. Dive deep into principles, common positions, and exercise tutorials as well as what to do if you have chronic aches and pains.

Prenatal/Postpartum

Celebrate these seasons of life.

It’s important to stay connected to your body, but also to take a more specialized approach to moving. Here you’ll focus on connecting to your breath, maintaining pelvic floor health, and sustaining and rebuilding strength for before, during, and after childbirth.
